There are many fine benefits of being a member of Baltimore Amateur Radio club:

1.       An extensive library with QST magazine (An ARRL Publication) dating back to the 1940’s plus other fine magazines and technical manuals

2.       A Club Ham Shack loaded with the latest software for logging and a mix of vintage and modern radio technology

3.       Use of club equipment in the event yours is sent off for repair; you’re never off the air!

4.       The Modulator, a monthly newsletter sent to your front door with the latest club news

4.       Most importantly, a facility for meetings that foster camaraderie and fun.

With your membership, you receive a coded key. This key will allow you access to the club 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to use the facilities. Once properly acclimated, you will have access to the shack for contests, rag-chew sessions and all the digital radio your heart desires.

BARC supports the Amateur Radio Service goal of providing quality pubic service, typically in the form of communications support to other public service and charitable organizations. The club has appointed a public service chairman to coordinate, train and supervise our public service events. Although from time to time we will coordinate our activities with the ARES and RACES Emergency Service organizations, it is our primary goal to service support requests with volunteers from within the membership of the BARC organization. All members are welcome and encouraged to support our public service activities.

All of these benefits are available to you with your yearly membership patron of $20.00 and a commitment to make amateur radio fun and exciting for as many as you can. There are two ways to proceed:
