SUMMARY:Jamboree On The Air Event -- CARA
DESCRIPTION:CARA is organizing a Jamboree On The Air activity at the Patapsco Park McKeldin Area for the weekend of October 17-19\, 2025. \n\n\n\nParticipating scout troops and cub packs will be permitted to camp at McKeldin for the weekend.  A couple units have already expressed interest and we expect additional interest as we continue to promote the event. \n\n\n\nWe are seeking volunteers who can assist with all activities. \n\n\n\nCARA’s goals include: \n\n\n\n\nSet up On The Air opportunities to include providing coaching and mentoring as needed\n\n\n\nAddress any questions and provide general information about Amateur Radio\n\n\n\nPossibly set up Go Kit / Transportable stations and demonstrations (where appropriate)\n\n\n\nPossibly set up a Fox Hunt as a side activity\n\n\n\nPossibly set up CW demos as a side activity\n\n\n\n\nAudrey White (W8AUD) is the CARA lead for this event and may be contacted via email at RobNAudWhite-at-gmail-dot-com or w8aud@outlook.com.
